Age of Conan PvP and Lore Update

This week’s Age of Conan Friday update features information on PvP and lore. There will be PvP minigames that are supposed to be the MMO equivalent of quick friendly death-matches if players feel like jumping straight into some competitive fun.
In the “Capture the Skull” minigame, two teams will compete by trying to capture the opposing team’s skull as many times as possible while preventing the other team from doing the same to theirs. In “Team Annihilation”, which is essentially a team-death match.
Age of Conan will be providing the hardest of the hardcore with PvP-flagged servers with rules allowing widespread PvP, as well as PvP-RP servers, which also encourages RP and staying in-character in PvP-flagged servers. PvP has its own advancement system with dedicated PvP levels, feats, and so forth, for those who do well or spend a lot of time PvPing. The game also allows for drunken brawling, letting players duke it out bare-knuckle style in taverns.
