Indie developer Sansoft has just made the client available for download here (you have to be logged into the Apocalypse Online forums)

The MMO is set in a post-apocalyptic future where four distinct factions have emerged, The Nomads, The Tech, The Raiders and The Enclave. Development started as a hobby in 2006 and later grew into a more serious project.
