Dungeon Party

Check out this new upcoming free MMO from Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide Studios called Dungeon Party, a light-hearted cartoon-style fantasy-esque team-based competitive MMO with the ability to design your own dungeons and share them with other players. You’ll create a character by choosing your class, appearance and items, then join a team of 5 players who are pitted against an opposing team of the same number of players in dungeon-crawling matches, competing for rare treasures. Your character will level up as you gain experience in matches, allowing you to upgrade it with improved skills and stats. The gameplay description, to me, is slightly reminiscent of a DotA type of game with persistent elements, much like the new League of Legends being developed by DotA’s original team.

“Cyanide, a Parisian game development studio unveils DUNGEON PARTY, a MMOG that is currently under development for the Windows PC.

DUNGEON PARTY is a free MMOG for the PC platform. Two teams of up to 5 players compete over one or more rounds and victory is only assured when one of them gets out of the dungeon with the treasure. Players can choose from one of 6 character types and they can customise their hero with various items of clothing or other objects that might come in useful in a dark corner ! Regular tournaments promise games of even greater intensity and will allow all players to measure themselves against the best, thanks to a real-time ranking system. Get ready to don your finest magic robes or your must sturdy armour and let’s see if you have what it takes to become masters of the dungeon.
