Shane Lacy Hensley to Produce New MMO

Shane Lacy Hensley was the creator of several top rated pen and paper RPGs such as the award-winning Deadlands, Weird Wars and Savage Worlds. He was recently promoted to head of Superstition Studios, which is part of Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment, the company behind Stargate Worlds. Shane’s previous involvement with other works include the CoX (City of Heroes/Villains) franchise, collectible card games and various other table top hobbies.

FireSky, publishing company for Superstition Studios has yet to publicly announce Shane’s new MMO project, but he promises that fans of his work will be very excited about the announcement. Interestingly enough, it’s mentioned on the developer profile page that we’ve probably already heard of the award-winning intellectual property for the title. Surely, this has to be an MMO of Shane’s most prominent work to date, Deadlands. Especially considering the MMO genre has been lacking in western/horror themed games. Another reason to suggest that it could be a Deadlands MMO is by looking at the western/horror-esque visual style of the Superstition Studios logo itself.
